Hematology

Abnormalities involving components of our blood are common. Disorders of the blood can make us acutely and/or chronically ill with a wide variety of symptoms, or they may involve asymptomatic findings in laboratory test results. They can be confusing and scary as blood problems involve a lot of words that are not common in everyday vocabulary.
