Physical Therapy

Physical therapists are licensed healthcare professionals who examine, diagnose, and treat conditions that can make movement difficult or painful. Physical therapist assistants may work under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist to provide recommended treatments.

Whether recovering from an injury or surgery or managing a chronic condition, patients receive personalized treatment plans designed to improve function and enhance overall quality of life. Patients are encouraged to be active participants in their care. The physical therapist works in partnership with each patient and, when appropriate, their chosen family or support system to develop a treatment plan that meets the individual’s needs and goals.
